End The War…
You see, it’s never as simple as just an argument.
This is an excerpt from the book that I’m writing, named ‘End The War’.
Inspired by, umm, conflict…
The potential for conflict, disagreement, misunderstanding and differences is seemingly infinite.
Yet, there is only one reality of the ‘other’, which is where we are the same, and where we unite.
If only we could hold onto this realisation in disagreement.
That which animates our being doesn’t care about winning.
That which animates our being doesn’t care about proving.
That which animates our being doesn’t care about judging.
That which animates our being is not living from fear.
But our egos do.
Ask ‘Who is fighting?’
Maybe one day, let’s hope, we all get tired of fighting.
This visual graphic represents the potential for conflict between the conscious and unconscious aspects of two people’s minds.
For the wide awake, you could simply say everything is a projection of the mind & it wouldn’t be wrong, but try saying that in an argument and you’ll probably cause another one.
The graphic:
For every element there is a multiple
Subparts - I am sure there are many more not listed here.
For example, each of us may have multiple Protectors, Managers, Firefighters, etc (parts of the psyche employed to protect fragmented parts of consciousness)
They engage and interact depending on the stimulus - you never know which one you’ll meet!
Or take, for example, your parents’ conditioning and ‘their voices’ you have in your head (introjects) and your partner’s introjects in their head.
Whose battle are you fighting?
Or your intergenerational suffering and consequential impact on your own inner masculine (Animus) and feminine (Anima) interacting with your partner/that gender at large, and projecting it onto them!
In the absence of a better term, it’s a shit show.
Just a few examples below of the myriad of interactions between two minds that can cause conflict- conscious, yet mostly unconsciousness:
Ancestral Imprint Vs Protector Part
Wounded Child Vs Wounded Child
Shadow Element vs False Self Concept
Projections Vs Archetypes
Projections Vs Projections
Masks Vs Animus
Parts Vs Divine Will
Personal Will Vs Persona
Transference Vs Managers.
And many, many more.
Ad nauseam!
We could either take the one road that leads to love or the many routes that lead to separation.
*Some terms in the graphic are interchangeable. The information given is formed from an empirical perspective.
