About…
Juliette was a Hatha Yoga Teacher for 10 years and qualified as a Yoga Therapist in Nasik, India, before becoming a Certified Hakomi Practitioner (CHP). She has had the privilege of sitting with many great mindfulness and meditation teachers, guiding us to a place of wholeness—where we are all well, even amidst our very real human pain and sorrow. She marries this depth with her Hakomi training, her knowledge and personal experience with Attachment Theory and Somatic EMDR, and her more traditional study in her current MSc in Psychology.
Her journey, therefore, has been one of re-entering the body and understanding what it means for this to be a safe space for unravelling our patterns in a movement towards integration and the ‘felt sense’ of wholeness, as a doorway into the deeper realisation of the true I—our authentic self.
Spirituality alone did not help her see her maladaptive patterns or provide comfort when life became too much to handle; she saw in real time that developmental patterns and trauma can overwhelm and flood the psyche. Psychotherapy alone did not help her with feeling undeniably whole, regardless of life’s vicissitudes. Together, they have been the alchemical antidote for her healing, which she is now passionate about sharing:
Somatic Sensing is a method for coming home: a journey back to our authentic selves—the doorway is through the body.
Some of us dream of being the most authentic, fullest expression of ourselves. My wish is that we all embody the wisdom of Carl Jung: ‘The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.’
