The Bridge

A Group for Self Enquiry

Rooted in the methods of Psychosynthesis & Hakomi

The Group Circle

There are times when one to one therapy isn't enough. Things might be shifting inside you, but once you step outside of the therapy room, the defaults rush back in. And it can be hard to change if those around you are invested in you staying the same. For these reasons, and others, we have created a space to help bridge what you have learned in your reflective practice, or in therapy, into other relationships.

The group sessions are held within the framework of two therapeutic systems: Psychosynthesis' Corona Process, and Hakomi. The Corona Process is a system whereby a group becomes, over time, a stable circle with its own psyche. It has several core conditions that help establish and maintain integrity, trust and 'group soul'. Hakomi brings embodiment to the group by working with the somatic psyche and loving presence. For the process to work, the group stays the same and meets every two weeks, for two hours, over the period of several months. It is as important to commit to each session as you would to individual therapy. Both modalities use mindfulness for deeper introspection, the only prerequisite for the group is a willingness to go inside oneself and self-study, sharing what feels safe to share.

Sessions will run bi-weekly on Fridays 2.30-4.30pm.

Some experience 1:1 with either therapy is useful but not essential.
